Magic Knight Rayearth is the title of a Japanese Manga - a written cartoon like document resembling to today’s anime shots. Of course, now it is available in animation movie industry, but initially it was brought on earth by CLAMP group (a special group of women formed aiming a common target) as Manga. Magic Knight Rayearth, popularly referred to as MKR, was first published by Kodansha; and later on Tokyopop, Editora JBC, Pika Édition, Elex Media Komputindo, Star Comics, Carlsen Comics, and Bonnier Carlsen have published it in different forms and shapes. In any case, main story telling of the Magic Knight Rayearth has never changed from the initial Manga series published in 1994. After its initial release, it is now available in three separate volumes, including availability for TV viewers and movie watchers. Original Video Animation (OVA) for the manga Magic Knight Rayearth was released in 1997.
