Place to visit in New Delhi : Birla Mandir

Lakshmi-Narayan Mandir is also called as Birla Mandir. It is the main temple, constructed through the engineering family of Birla. It is devoted to Vishnu and his spouse Lakshmi and situated on Mandir Marg. In 1938, the most popular Birla Mandir was opened through Mahatma Gandhi on the state form that public of all castes would be permitted in.

Birla MandirBirla Mandir is the most popular for the celebration of Krishna’s birthday (Janmashtami). The birth of Krishna is commemorated with cheer and goodwill in the Birla Mandir. It is manufactured in the Orissan style along with high bent towers capped through big amalakas. The outside is faced with the red sandstone and white marble typical of Mughal structural design of Delhi. However, the interior court is overlooked by two-storey verandahs on three sides, there are fountains and gardens at the back. The abundance of idols, jails, sculptures and spires, the Lakshmi-Narayan temple is also supposed like brilliance in terms of its structural design.

The right side dome of this temple abode Bhagwan Shiv in consideration style. There is a Devi Durga statue on the left side mandir shikhar. Bhagwan Hanuman is placed on the left side of the front gate. In additional, God Ganesh is positioned on the right side of the front gate.

Rajghat Monument to Mahatma Gandhi New Delhi

Rajghat is a plain black colored marble stage for monument to Mahatma Gandhi, which represents the spot of his cremation. It is gone open to the skies when an everlasting flame burns continuously at single end. It is positioned on the banks of Yamuna.
