Ah My Goddess is a famous animation - the anime - creature of Japanese orientation. Animation works, over the years, have grown into our own dear anime and have entered inside our drawing rooms very silently, but intelligently. It is not that these animated films are only favorites to our kids, they also wonder aged alike. As animation has no limitation for imagination, all our dreams we impose on the anime characters and thereby obtain an immeasurable satisfaction. Like most of the well-known animation characters, Ah My Goddess is also of Japanese origin. It is the English version of Japanese comedy story, of fable nature, Aa Megami-sama. Sometimes, the title is also referred in English as ‘Oh! My Goddess’, but, as per the Japanese natives, the first one is more appropriate. After publishing first in Aug 1988 in Japanese, Ah My Goddess has seen various forms of its existence, like comedy series, novel, magazine serials, TV titles, and movie forms, etc.

Kosuke Fujishima is the creator of Aa Megami-sama, which gave birth various translated forms of appearance for the story. Though, Fujishima brought it on earth, but it’s animated versions got popularized only after the release of its English version. With the invention of more sophisticated animation tools, present day version of Ah My Goddess is little bit more colorful and action packed than its predecessor’s. But in any case, irrespective of its version and forms of existence, theme of this world-renowned anime revolves around a delightful girlfriend and her nostalgic stories.

Ah My Goddess is full of fantasy developed through the immaculate comedian advances along the river of romance. Jesting comedy of the story has given birth to several different animation offshoots - each one is unique on their own rights. More such variants are likely to be developed in near future. Present offshoots of the original Aa Megami-sama in the form of Ah My Goddess are:
